This solid walnut and maple carpenters deadblow mallet is as beautiful as it is functional. Select the ‘Parts Kit’, which gives you all the parts cut and ready to glue up, shape and finish, or the ‘Blank Kit’, that is a glued up assembly ready for you to shape and finish. Complete instructions and even the optional brass handle insert are included with both kits. Either of these options are the perfect gift for anyone who loves to create but may not have the equipment, materials or desire to do the entire process.

When completed, this is a true deadblow mallet, with 13 ounces of lead shot loose in the head so it strikes nice and solid with no bounce. Great for chisel work, or knocking your projects joints together. It’s total weight when finished is just under 2 lbs.
It measures 11″ tall x 6″ across the head, with 3″ wide faces.
